Antique Yorkshire Range in Chepstow

This is a beautiful little Yorkshire Range strangely found in some 1930s tenement housing in Chepstow!  We have seen Yorkshire Ranges as far south as the midlands but finding one in Monmouthshire is very odd.  I wonder if there is an interesting story behind it?

We recommissioned this range without removing it.  It required a new firebox constructing, a replacements closure plate and repair to the flaunching and gather.  There were also several patterns and castings to produce as well as several welding repairs that were carried out at our workshops after removing the parts.  All in all it was a satisfying job and this image was sent to us from the client showing the first fire they have had in the range.
